1. Ellora Caves

      

 

Spectacular rock cut caves and elaborate sculptures of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain faiths are over 10 centuries old.

2.Ajanta Caves

Richly decorated Buddhist caves contain frescoes and sculptures.

3.Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Mandir

4.Daulatabad Fort

This fort should be rated among top 10 forts of India but this is not so. Daultabd Fort is perhaps only fort of India which could not be won by anyyone by army or force. Great Akbar tried for 4 months- could not succeed and so did many before and after him. This was treason which led intruders to step into this marvel of architecture and planning.

MUST VISIT after you see AJANTA and ELLORA CAVES. This is just 5-6 kms from Aurangabad and should not be missed.

NOTE:
1. Bring your own bottled water- water is not available inside this huge fort.
2. Keep a small torch as you need this inside a dead dark passage while going up the fort.
